i've just had a delivery... sam doll for Erin...

    http://www.zapfdolls.co.uk/Sally_and_Sam.html

mum has got her the Sally one, so we decided to get her the sam one to go with..... supposedly toddler sized dolls.... kinda freaky actually!

I had a toddler doll that could 'walk' if I held its hand and pulled it along with me. I remember Mum being horrified when I told the security guy at Heathrow that she has a cap in her tummy that you could take off and put things inside her...:rotfl:

To do list for tonight (can you tell I'm filling time until 4;) )
    - make chilli for tomorrow
    - make baked potatoes for tomorrow
    - supervise Hubbles moving furniture for tomorrow
    - beautify cat (trim claws, trim coat and bath and dry:eek: )
    - beautify self (thankfully hair appointment tomorrow a.m. so don't need to worry about that..)
    - put away laundry

I think that should get me as far as bedtime...

i have just done some shrewd MSE shopping.....

when we ordered Erin's sofabed, Argoos kindly sent us a code for £10 off next online order... instead of £10 gift card (which would have been more useful as £10 online is nothing by the time you pay delivery, whereas in a shop you can spend full value only, plenty things in Argoos for under a tenner!) and you can't even use the tenner on reserved goods as they are paid in store........... humph!

anyhow, i promised runchum rachel that i would get her a nice holdall as she covets mine when we go running, altho she has a jane norman carrier bag, which i said is posher!

so i have bought her...... http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001151&langId=-1&searchTerms=HEAD+BAG+MARINA
    (sorry can't do mini links)

    Cost £10, £6 delivery, less £10 voucher = Price paid £6 delivery....

    i think shrewd business no?
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Afternoon, that tinfoil covered half cabbage looks a bit worse for wear. The cheese is looking a bit sweaty and someone has put back lots of empty cocktail sticks

Thought I'd pop in and say hello, before I go off out to work, only a couple of hours tonight.

I did, yes, but for 1.5% of £10, and that's assuming it tracks on the price of item, rather than what i paid... it'll amount to not much pence!

Plan is to bung chilli in slow cooker tonight. Baking potatoes then pulling all the flesh out to make mash, mixing in cheese and red pepper to mash then restuffing skins. Then I just need to bung them in the oven tomorrow while the pizza is baking. I love jacket spuds done that way
