If you are intending to buy the daily telegraph tomorrow, mainly for the free decoration, it might be a good idea to check that they have some in stock first. The last offer, of free Xmas wrapping paper?, annoyed lots of people as there was very little stock at M&S, despite it being advertised as free in both Saturdays and Sundays newspaper. The same thing seems to happen a lot with the Daily Express/Superdrug/Tesco/others offers that regularly appear in the Saturday editions.

I bought 6 of these on the 3 for 2 and 20% day and I loved them but the battery lasted from 3-5 days in each one and I was only putting them on on an evening.

i think this is true at any time of the year. any voucher in a saturday paper for a free item is more miss than hit, i find it more so if its some thing thats worth more than about a pound as there is rarely any on the shelves, even if the voucher is valid for a week. (as i'm typing this i'm wondering if you could ask at customer services and get a "raincheck" type voucher if it was for somewhere like tesco/asda )

A heads up for tomorrow's Scotsman paper. Don't know if it is available in copies outside Scotland.

    Dear Reader

Loved the movie? Get the book....

As Madagascar 2 hits our cinema screens, the Scotsman is giving away a free Madagascar Escape 2 Africa movie story book inside every single copy of Saturday's paper.

Get to know the movie characters even better - Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the hippo and Gloria the giraffe; and find out how the adventurous four survive in their native land when their penguin piloted plane crashes on the African Savannah!

This fantastic free book includes the full story of the film, plus page of film characters to colour in. Parents, grandparents and of course Madagascar-mad kids will love this free book.

This fantastic book is free inside every copy of The Scotsman this Saturday - its wild!

Free £15 travel gift card p33

I can't see that this will work out any good, but maybe someone else can check it out. Its a way of giving a gift card to someone which is preloaded with money, which they can then spend at a travel agent throught the website. The offer is to pre load the card with £15.
I think the restrictions on it are so severe that it would not be moneysaving- you have to book throught them for instance. Howeve, apparently its a new thing and is popular in the USA as a way of giving a flexible gift to someone- what is more flexible than a nice wadge of cash though?
    The code is TELEXMAS
