The ELC has a selection - would think they were reasonable quality

There is also the old favourite - Fisher Price. I can remember my kids using it to stand on and look out the window - very strong. The current one is different to the one we had, but I would suspect it would be pretty durable

Hi Lidl are doing one next week which looks good for £24.45. I've never had any problems with quality of the non-food stuff from Lidl.

My son had the elc big city garage (plastic one) for his 3rd birthday. He loves it and I'm not a fan of wooden toys anyway (too much damage when he throws them!). Must warn you it does come apart fairly easily but it is designed to do so to stop it breaking I think, and it hasn't been a problem for us. It is still very sturdy. It has a lift and helipad, 2 ramps and some good sound effects that he loves. On elc's website you can see lots of reviews for the items from parents which helped me decide.
Hope you find something good.0 -
