Do you have savings and debt?

I dont think its anything about not being convinced. In theory yes i (and im sure many others) agree that savings should be paid straight towards debts. But, again like me many others on this site are using this place so that they know they wont have to use credit cards and loans in emergencies (hence the reason people are saving despite having debts).
I dont think people are disagreeing with the concept (and you are explaining it well - what you are saying does make sense in theory) its just what people feel comfortable doing. I certainly know i dont ever want to use my CCs again therefore will always have at least a few hundred pounds savings.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
