Looking around for Xmas presents and found a great bargain on a clothing website I normally buy stuff from. Might not be everyones style, but as a xmas filler I think its excellent, I bought a Stone Island Jumper for 30% off and added a couple of these too. happy days!

Thanks for this, my OH's brother always wears caps and though I hate it I was thinking of buying him a new one, he'll love this, thanks.

    Edited to say
Just discovered potage to buy 1 is only £1.50, was thinking it'd be a rip off so definitely worth it.
Personally don't care if it's spam, I just got a bargain (and only just outside our £10 limit)
However am saving it for a present of his birthday next year as I already have his Christmas present. I am sooo organised!

    Am I being paranoid?

  • this kind of shop, from my experience (and I have a little) is obviously run by a small company... probably something to do with the op. There is a setting in the control panel of the admin section which will refuse a payment from paypal if the buyer isn't verified... Paypal are great for buyers, but really crap for sellers (see https://www.paypalsucks.com)

To me that would suggest that the site is genuine... the fact they wont take your money unless you're verified means that they too seek protection from the transaction.

I would be wary of giving my bank details to ANYONE... if you gave them to me now then there's a fair chance (if i was so inclined) that I could set up some form of DD from your account and take money from you (it isn't rocket science... and I'm not the sort of person to do it!)

pay on your CC and you're covered... pay on your debit card and you're not.. that's the general rule isnt it.

This site is about saving money on items you may want. It is not about spending the least amount of money possible. Saving money for example on a Mercedes is just as valid as saving money on a Smart Car...
