retract my termination of contract

Hi everyone i need some advice, i have the offer of another job with better pay and prospects....... but this is a big step for me as I have worked for the NHS for 29 years so it's a bit daunting giving up my job after all these.... but I know in the long term it is the right thing to do....now I have to give one months notice but say for instance I get cold feet have I got the right to retract my notice

If the new job pays more and has better prospects, take it as they wouldn't have offered it to you if they thought you weren't any good. Change is good for the soul.

This is correct.
29 years in the NHS, you need to think about your pension. How old are you? Are you moving to the private sector?
