Don't think it's any easier in person! We went into our local Game on Tuesday and were told they were expecting stock on Wednesday and to ring at 9.20 am once the delivery had been checked. When we did we were asked for our name and when we gave it, were told they had not had a delivery and try again today.

When I rang today and asked if they'd had stock I was told no. I asked if they'd had any stock this week and was then told that they had stock on Wednesday! However, they'd taken names and numbers for customers waiting for the game and rung them to collect until they'd run out. Unfortunately nobody took our number so we weren't on the list :mad:

What's so frustrating is that I when I was asked what my partner would like for Christmas I suggested this and said to put it on pre-order so we'd get a copy but the person knew best (!) and said it would be cheaper nearer to Christmas. Of course, now it's like gold dust! To add insult to injury they did place an online order but cancelled it because they thought they'd get it somewhere else.

Yeah, I've ordered one as well.. still, it's worth trying. I've still got one ordered at Play.com which is 'awaiting stock'. Think I'll cancel that if this goes through.

You're right, they went quick!! Pc world and dixons seem to have good stock though

also ordered earlier of all 3, to increase my chance of getting hold of one. And although i havent received any notification email i check under orders in my accounts under the sites and each have 'order received' ??? does this me ive got lucky or probably not as i havent got an email??
