Just went to Tesco and asked how much the choccy tins were and the one of the managers told me that the Quality Street is on offer this weekend for just £4 per 1kg tin. He said it started today and was just for the weekend. I got one but it scanned higher at £4.90 so they overrode the price.
I suspect it starts tomorrow but here is the heads up to you all.

They're on the website now at £4.90, and it's 1.2kg tin see here
And the small print says the offer is on until 24/12.
Thanks OP :beer:TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -

In Gt Yarmouth today for £4, wish Id got one now cos if they're scanning at £4.90, thats a nice £1.80 in DTD back, so makes them £2.20 a tin!!!!0

I know - I had a terribly conciencious cashier who insisted in overriding it on the checkout effectively wiping out my DTD but then again I did pay with coupons!
Yep checked again and the weight on my tin is 1.2kg.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

If you're referring to my post .....
item costs £4, you pay £4.90 - overpay by 90p. Double the difference is £1.80, so you get £1.80 back which makes your final price £3.10. Apologies if your post was not referring back to mine
Sorry, I should have quoted it. I was replying to Veggie4life asking what DTD meant.0 -
