Savings Accounts

Hi everyone,
I currently hold my savings account with Lloyds TSB.. today I realised my interest was only 1.7 percent! I totally didnt read the small print (its says 3.5%... then says on balances over £100,000)
So I really want to get a new savings account!
I had a look through the savings account section on here and there are tons to choose from! I need advice which one would you guys recommend I have?
I hold a current account with Lloyds TSB and also have one for HSBC however I had £50.00 worth of bank charges from HSBC so took all of my money out of there while I try and claim them back! I have a online bonus saving account with HSBC and also an ISA too. I stupidly took the money out of my ISA so can't replace it (prob about £1200 worth) back then I wasnt so determind to save now im trying to get every penny together!
Is it a good idea I keep my money away from HSBC as I wrote the letter in to claim back my charges!? Or should I just go back to that savings account?
Is there a better deal out there for me?
By pay day (19th Dec) I should have £4100 savings and will be looking to add to it each month till Dec2009.
Any advice would be very much appricated!
