Can't move cursor in Word...

....with the mouse. I can only use the arrow keys. Hence selecting things is pretty difficult. :rolleyes:
It's office 2007, and only affects word.

Yep, only word. I'm on my laptop so it's the touch pad strictly speaking.
I've even tried re-installing office to no joy.0
