when you sign into your account there's different locations where you can go, ie: account summary: arrange returns: make a payment: email deatails: delivery address and so on, if there is a vip invitation it will show up there, hope this helps, if you have one click in " vip invite " and follow.Where is the icon, is it on next.co.uk or next.co.uk/vipsale?

Well thanks guys you have done me up like a kipper :T :rotfl: :T
In the past I haven't received an invite & I was glad of any advice & help I got on here. I'm trying to do the same for others & find it upsetting that you are writing posts like this.0 -

Having read this thread from the beginning I just thought I'd post the following as it appears some people either aren't reading everything (asking the same questions that have already been answered) or they're confused.
So, to summarise so far:
Only 2 people so far have claimed to have booked VIP slots. This was done over the phone and NOT online.
When phoning Next some people are being told there's no way of knowing if they're a VIP, others are being told they are. Whatever they're told the consistent message from Next is that emails will be sent out by Sunday and that they can't book in VIP slots until then.
My guess is one of the following is happening:
1. The staff saying they're unable to see if someone has been selected don't know where to look on the system. Or;
2. Have been told not to say (meaning those who do say are going against guidelines). Or;
3. They haven't finished selecting everyone yet.
As I mentioned earlier, only 2 people have said they've booked a slot. If they have then they've been lucky. I'm not doubting they're genuine but Surfing spaniel said that a supervisor "wasn't even certain of the times available" but somehow still managed to book a slot for 4.30pm. I'd be keeping an eye on that Surfing spaniel, surely for them to book a slot it must show available ones on the system.
Back on track... the http://www.next.co.uk/vipsale link has started taking you to the log in page. This isn't yet set up properly. After logging in the following message will be displayed:
If you read further down you will also see it mentions the Autumn sale. Nobody is able to book a VIP slot online at the moment. This is the same for everybody.
One final point. For well over a year now Next have no longer used a separate item code for sales. Previously you could bypass the VIP log in by simply changing the last 3 digits on an item code to get it at the sale price.
This is no longer possible so there's no point in asking for the code.
In previous years you've only been able to book a VIP slot when the 'VIP' links appear after logging into your account. By this I mean when you log in through the normal 'My account' section of www.next.co.uk a list of options appear on the right, such as make a payment or arrange a return... the links to book a VIP slot appear in these options.0 -
OMG - its not the end of the world, enjoy christmas , def not worth getting upset at.

the link www.next.co.uk/vipsale is no longer working so I guess they have removed it. No doubt we will all be discussing it agin tomorrow - so speak to you all then!:rotfl: :rotfl:0
