Tesco Direct Loophole

Bought dd a mobile from tesco direct with free delivery and used a code for £7.00 off. DD then picked another phone so returned first one to store for refund. Girl there told me that they would normally refund coupon as gift card but would refund all back onto debit card this time. So I made seven quid and got to keep the points too!
Think they must have a policy of some sort in cases like these :j
