Hi all
I saw this Freindship Tea in John Lewis last week
https://www.papadeli.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1460
It's a lovely idea but it was £4.95 a pack (and some weird marigold flower tea mix
) so I decided to make something similar but with teabags!
However I would like to use this style bag to put it in but cannot find them anywhere (and I only need 6). Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks

:rotfl: (sorry, just find the word 'gusset' really funny)
do you have a party shop anywhere near you? I've seen some similar party bags, in either cellophane or coloured paper. Usually under £3 per pack of 12-20 depending on the make & size.
Like these, but you don't want to have to pay for postage on top.0 -
Hi
I have used this site before for various bits and bobs. Always been happy with them - they have lovely cheap packaging bits. Reasonable delivery charge if you go for the small bags. Could ask in a friendly takeaway if you could buy a few from them and just pop the string around with your own label on them to 'glam them up' ?
All the best

I could send you a "how to make them" they end up 8x5x12cm high if you want. I use them a small gift/fudge packets

Oh that would be fantastic - although I'm not very 'crafty' so I hope they're not too complicateddumbsilver_surfer wrote: »I could send you a "how to make them" they end up 8x5x12cm high if you want. I use them a small gift/fudge packets

try this
Take a sheet of strong paper 8.5x11 inches
Measure score and fold at 1in ,5in ,7in and 10 along long side open out again
Turn and measure score and fold at 2in along short side open out again
Make vertical cuts to the long edge along fold lines up to the 2in fold line (this will be the base of bag)
Crease all the lines firmly then start to fold to make bag
Stick double sided tape on the narrow strip and fold and stick to create your bag shape
Fold and stick four bottom flaps to make base
Pinch in the sides to make a fold down top
Decorate as required
hope it works for you:D0
