  • Popped into the Nottingham branch today in Victoria Centre, picked a couple of bits, Mirrored Mosaic vase £20.00 down to £7.20, Large scented candle £8.00 down to £4.00 & few other stocking fillers. Had to wait about 15 mins to pay but worth a visit if your passing.

The pier is a fantastic shop, pricey but you are paying for quality - I have a house full of Pier furniture - If people cannot afford the furniture it does not make the shop or prices rubbish. I think there is a shop for people like that.............. IKEA!!!!!!!! ;)

How rude ! Im not saying there is anything wrong with pier because they do have some lovely things in there and ive been known to shop there myself but basically calling anyone who shops at ikea or owns ikea furniture 'people who cannot afford' or 'people like that' is ignorant and rude ! You should be ashamed of that comment. I feel ashamed for you.

No i didnt, but thats only because it was in the first list on the grabbit page. An easy mistake to make. My point still stands even if it was two years ago,its a rude remark.
Now that i think about it though....i shopped at the pier's closing down sale when it was on in the trafford center ages ago hah :rotfl: Thats the 'mummy brain' taking over,i dont know the difference between a two days ago and two years ago :o
