Not strictly an "appearance", but I couldn't find anywhere better to fit this in:
The usual year-end news story about the "top ten" searched-for keywords on Google is pretty predictable, but the following sentence caught my eye:

The economic crisis has made an impact on UK searchers with "money saving expert" and "hot uk deals" making the top 10 finance-related searches.
