Made to measure suits

Can anyone recommend a good gents outfitters with tailoring services or indeed just a good tailor for a made to measure suit

My OH isn't an "average" build so can't get off the peg suits. He's been promoted recently and will need a decent suit for certain work related events.

I have no idea of prices but realise it won't be cheap but he's using his annual good time-keeping bonus to cover the cost.

Any advice would be really appreciated

We live in Newtownabbey but don't mind travelling a reasonable distance.

When you say he's not average build, can you clarify a bit? If he's a larger bloke, like myself, then he should try All Sizes at Ballyhackamore or Coleraine. They've reasonably priced suits and can get them altered to fit better.

I've bought 5 from them over the last couple of years and I've no complaints at all.

Hi, he's 6ft2" and wirey but has really long arms and body. He has to buy xl or xxl in t shirts and sweatshirts to get the length in the body. But you can't really get away with that in a suit jacket.

Dressed in properly fitting clothes he looks great but in a lot of makes eveything is at half mast at the arms and back. He's tries very hard not to look like Lurch from the Adams family

Also he wears a 34 waist x 34 inside leg jeans but in some makes they still kind of skim his ankles......not a good look

I bought my son a suit for interviews from Gowdys a few weeks ago.
He is 6ft 5 and a slim 18 year old.
We were able to get great looking suit nice slim leg,about35"inner leg. He looks really well in it.
    Worth the £185 I paid!
It must have worked too because he was interviewed on Wed. and offered a place on the course of his choice today!!Yay!
