I want to find out about more websites to look at ie for eduaction and other interesting websites. I know you get books with these listings but is there any other way fnding out.

Books arn't really of much use these days - they take months to compile, print and distribute - and thats without the time spent on the shelves. Even 1 month is a long time on the web these days, sites come and go etc all the time.
Best place to look, if you are researching a specific topic, is Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org) - its an online encyclopedia, but will in most cases have links to other reputable sites in the given topic.0 -
