You can get a Panasonic DMC-LS1B from Amazon for £79.99 including VAT and delivery. This is going from £102 to £140 elsewhere so although the marked down price on Amazon (£149) is a bit high it is still a good bargain on well built camera.

Ther's a review here on Megapixel, and a second review here at digicamreview.co.uk.
From the Megapixel review, the positives were:-
- Very good to excellent image quality.
- Optical image stabilizer.
- 2-inch monitor.
- Well-priced.
- Compact.
and the negatives:-
- Flash a bit weak.
- Noise at 200 and 400 ISO.
- All Auto flash shots can become noisy.
I agree with OP - a good price on a good camera, thanks for postingPeople are more important than things0 -

I have a Panasonic FZ3 and wouldnt hesitate in getting this, based on the quality of pics that I get.
There used to be a lovely Leica camera made by panasonic which sold for £600.00 (I sold mine second hand for £300.00) and it wasn't as well spec'd as this so it certainly is a bargain IMHO.
software is O.K. and the menus are simple but feature packed and sensible. Not at all fiddly.
Hope this helps someone to treat themselves.
