Mortgage payment holidays

We have mortgage with Northern Rock and we are now entitled to 3 months Payment holiday. Because of unexpectedly high tax bill I could do with extra money. If we take advantage of this Payment Holiday for three months, does this show up on our credit reference as missed payment and so effect our credit score?
Any help will be gratefully received.
Thanks

Hi,
Provided payment holidays form a contractual feature of your mortgage product and the payment break is agreed with Northern Rock beforehand, then no it shouldn't have any impact on your credit file.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. hi, we take mortgage holidays every time they are offered. I got a copy of our credit report last week, they do not show up. Ours is with NR too.0
