I think MrCow was attempting some humor as you "bought" not "brought" some items.

    It's not humour. It's pedantry.

    There's a big difference.

You're quite right, one is an endearing trait in a person and one is'nt.

    No, you're thinking of sarcasm.

I was once told that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but yet the highest form of intellect, suppose its horses, or cows, for courses.

  • Sorry, full of flu at the moment hence grammatical errors that some people don't seem to be able to let pass without comment. I actually find it rather sad that people have to hover on forums and highlight the mistakes of others to have some fun.

Blimey....you must be really bunged up for your stuffy nose to be affecting your typing as well as your speaking. Lemon and honey is the way to go my friend. Squeeze half a lemon and two large tablespoons of honey into a mug of hot water and sip (take out the pips first). Also make sure you've dosed up on paracetamol. And get some rest.

Oh animals, can't we just get along ? Strange thread with banter from a bear, wolf and a cow :)
  • I order from Yankee Doodle on a regular basis. I've ordered this set already. Just want to say that their customer service is first class. Often you can order one day and get it delivered the next (standard service they provide). They are taking slightly longer just now due to it being the Christmas rush, but they tell you this on their homepage.
Also they've been doing deals like this over the past couple of months, so if you are into candles its worth signing up for their email newsletter, as they'll keep you updated on all offers.
    cheers
  • I keep looking at this site and never buying but this is a really lovely set for a great price and I couldn't resist this time, they'll make gorgeous gifts. I ended up buying a couple of other things on offer too for Xmas gifts. Thanks op, I bit the bullet and now have pressies to keep the in-laws happy.

Does anyone know how quick they ship your order out?
  • Thank you, ordered 2 for presents but now thinking I may keep one!
