i do not think argos had any of these in stock at 39.99 to begin with because i only checked 2 days ago and the item was 79.99, i have been checking these out on a regular basis as i want one of those bikes, now i have checked all over the midlands and no store has got any in stock, i cant believe they have sold out all over the country this quick, the original poster only posted the notice this morning.

I saw it reduced on friday but no stock then either so suspect you might be right

  • Sorry to disappoint the conspiracy theorists, but,... I got one of these excercise bikes last week for 39.99. It is a slightly different model to the 79.99 model [different weight of flywheel?]. It came flat packed and took about an hour to put together [I used my own tools rather than the cheapo ones supplied].
And the Argos I got it from was.....Maidenhead, which is only 10 miles from my work place. But yes, I did have to hunt around, and I have no idea if I had the last one.
I have only just registered on here, otherwise may have posted about this a week ago!

  • lucky guys, i checked the most of the midlands (birmingham/walsall/wolverhampton/nottingham/leicester etc) all out of stock, maybe there are a lot of unhealthy people in the midlands who were all desperate like me for a cheap bike

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
  • Bought the bike they are selling in Aldi for £80 and it is a very nice bit of kit, very sturdy with a touch screen display,

  • Sorry you are having no luck with Argos deal. If you are interested, I have one of this model for sale in white at £35. In very good, clean condition. Very little used, as I have moved on to a Cross Trainer and Rowing Machine. Full spec and everything works perfectly. I also have the assembly and user manual and basic tools. I will be happy to send a selection of photos if interested. You would need to collect and I live in Bath, North East Somerset. My phone number is 01225 837634.icon7.gif
