13 month challenge

hi chaps, i've got a challenge for you. I'm 19, just recently unemployed and in asap need of £3000. I want to use this 3k to send me to china, where i can learn the skills i need to make my dream and a highly realistic career come true. Think of it as putting me through uni, but without a student loan or banks to buffer me, i need real cash.
The good news is i have £600 saved, no dept whatsoever, and am currently boyant financialy. This means that any bonus money i make will go straigfht to the savings.
This is where our money saving community comes in. The challenge is, with our collective knowledge, to help me drain loop holes ect, and aim to raise £2,400 before march next year (this is the rough date i have to leave).
Any help and suggestions you could offer would be very, very much appreciated, thanks.

  • I wonder if this would be better off on the debtfreewannabe board, or the OS board? Or the small business board?

I'm sorry I don't have much to contribute in the way of ideas except the normal 'buy at car boot sales, sell on Ebay' idea....... Otherwise it's just what the rest of us do, work 24/7 - extra job for cash, etc etc blah blah.

At 19 you probably haven't realised quite how hard life is, yet :( - but I admit to being really down today!
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
  • thanks jobbingmusician but i've done all that. Its the only reason im in the strong possition i'm in now. I was talking more about sighn up bonuses like the lloyds current accout offers ect.
