Homebase and Argos are the same group and sell the same products - often they have the same item numbers hence this being the same tree, but Homebase are definately more expensive on most items as they have their 'rewards' scheme and you can get up to 10% back in vouchers.

They are in stock at both places for delivery (although neither available in either store around here for me) but getting it from Argos would be £2.50 cheaper than getting it from Homebase if you have it delivered. I was tempted but I would prefer to collect and there are none left around here.

Unless you really need a tree for this Xmas, my advice would be to wait until after Xmas and pop in store. 2 Xmas's ago I got the 6ft St Moritz pre-lit tree that is on 'special offer' at £68.49 here for, believe it or not, FOUR POUNDS!!

OMG, I got that one too but I have a 7 or 8 ft one - I cannot reach the top of it and I have to bend the top bit over to get the angel on the top - when the angel is on the top she touches the ceiling. But I paid a whopping £15 for that (I think 10% off too). I was well chuffed, my husband thought I was mad buying it in January but it was nice to find it in the loft the following year and now we have a fabulous looking tree!!

Reserved this tree in Argos but when hubby went to collect it he was told it was recalled.

Thought that myself but further attempts to reserve it have failed.Its available to reserve but then fails to reserve it!!!!
Have tried twice and have now given up
