How Do You Cancel Ppi On Your Loan

Phone your loan provider and they should be able to cancel it unless it is part of the loan agreement

I cancelled mine via phone after around 9 months. Have just paid the card off and have only just realised I could have tried to claim some back : :doh: :wall: :doh:

As above, you should be ok as long as you didnt sign up to it for a certain amoount of time. Hope you get it sorted :money:

I am trying to sort out my finances and I have 3 credit cards, and no loans. Is it worth me trying to cancel my the ppi and trying to get just one from an independent provider?
Or is is not worth getting it at all?
If it worth canceling it how do i go about doing it?

Definately try to cancel it if you can. Phone your loan/credit card provider and tell them you want to cancel it. They should be able to unless it states otherwise in your terms and conditions. If you don't know, it's worth asking. My husband cancelled his PPI on his credit card the other day so now we have an extra £100 per month to put towards clearing the balance!

Just a quick question how do you mean claiming the PPI back

Does anyone know if there is any templete letters around for the cancelation of ppi at all

If you switch over to the Loans forum there are templates on there I think.

We managed to cancel out PPI on our loan, which saved us in total just short of £8000, not bad! We did manage to prove we'd been mis sold it though.....
