20% Discount possible at Staples

I needed a monitor urgently for my son on Sunday.
Paid a visit to local Staples for a quick look see.
Found a monitor at £99.00 which would do the job nicely.
I was already making a small saving with new (unsignd VAT) and Staples loyalty card but thought lets see if I can get more money off.
Went to till with said monitor and asked if there were any discount vouchers available.
Received a glare from assistant manager and following a stony silence and stand off was given a 20% "freinds and family" discount voucher. Voucher was taken from a stack of vouchers lying on top of the till.
Result: £99.00 monitor knocked down to £74 and a few pence. :j
