Thanks for the advice, it makes a lot of sense. In retrospect perhaps living at my parents house isnt such a bad thing at all. Ill use the time to pay off my debts first and then start saving for a deposit.
As for quitting smoking, it will be hard but heck if i wanna make a change i might as well go all out. It will help me with my other plans to get fit and loose the beer belly too. and £70+ a month would be a nice chunk to pay off my debt.
Heres hoping tonight will be my last smoke.

i would just like to point out that a standard tenancy agreement will not allow you to sublet any part of the property..
if you do rent somewhere go 50/50 with a friend and share bills ect if there on tenancy agreement then landlord wont mind
also have you thought what would happen if your friend gets a partner and wants to move out then yr stuck with high rent!!
i think your best bet is to stay at home and save as much as possible after paying off debts
also give up smoking you can do it i did!!! :j:beer: :j OFFICIAL DFW NERD NO 159 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH OUR DEBTS:beer: :j
If you do a job well, people won't be sure you've done anything at all
Must claim back bank charges!!!:rolleyes:0
