  • Thanks for the advice, it makes a lot of sense. In retrospect perhaps living at my parents house isnt such a bad thing at all. Ill use the time to pay off my debts first and then start saving for a deposit.

    As for quitting smoking, it will be hard but heck if i wanna make a change i might as well go all out. It will help me with my other plans to get fit and loose the beer belly too. and £70+ a month would be a nice chunk to pay off my debt.

    Heres hoping tonight will be my last smoke.

  • i would just like to point out that a standard tenancy agreement will not allow you to sublet any part of the property..
    if you do rent somewhere go 50/50 with a friend and share bills ect if there on tenancy agreement then landlord wont mind
    also have you thought what would happen if your friend gets a partner and wants to move out then yr stuck with high rent!!

    i think your best bet is to stay at home and save as much as possible after paying off debts

    also give up smoking you can do it i did!!! :j
