Ideas for nuts!

Last night I made my christmas cake and managed to forget to put the nuts in. The cake turned out fine, but I am now left with a container of ground almonds and chopped brazils mixed together (about 200g). I have looked through my recipe books but nothing really seems to stand out (apart from another fruit cake which I don't really want to do) Has anybody got any ideas that i could use these nuts for?

    Not too sure about the ground almonds - put in a korma sauce maybe? The chopped nuts could be mixed with sweet chilli, paprika & garlic powder and some oil & baked in the oven. Not for too long though as they burn easily. Very yummy though!

    You could use the ground almonds to make a tunis cake - it is on the forum, or try macaroons, the brazils could be covered in chocolate to make brazil nut clusters just in time for christmas

    maybe make a few batches of hobnobs, add a handful to each batch and mybe use a little less flour

    Thanks for the ideas-had a total block and couln't think of anything! I will be making hob nobs and nut clusters tomorrow, and I love the idea of spiced nuts and will keep this idea for the future!
