Was this like a 'Managers Special' type offer because I have rung two local stores around Leicester and they still have it for £99.87.

Would definitely be interested if was at lower price, just out of curiosity what store did you purchase it from OP.

    Many thanks for your help.

Hamilton is a pile of pants when it comes to offers, I swear most of the time they don't bother putting all the offers up.. imho :)

    Fuji FinePix A330 £ 49.87 EACH

The one I got was an A360 4.1MP I bought it on Monday from Asda Colingdale and they had at least a dozen still on the shelf :T
The same camera was on display at Park Royal though and it marked up at £99 reduced from £149

At least 1/2 dozen boxes of the Fuji A360 at my local Asda yesterday, marked at £49.87 alongside reduced mobile phones. The A360 is the Walmart/Asda version of the Fuji A345. Only difference is that it has a blue face instead of silver and comes with accessories including 64mb XD card and camera case.

point3- where is your local Asda? Been looking in the north west in a few stores for these cameras, but they've either not had any or they were priced at £99.99!

Bizarre how some stores are selling them £50 cheaper!
  • My local asda have the A330 available online for £49.97, is it worth it and does it differ much from the A360?

In a word yes - with the Asda A330, you just literally get the camera without all the extra bits of the A360 - it's also 3.2 megapixels rather than 4 megapixels of the A360.

Will keep an eye out on my local store for discounts!

A member of staff in ASDA told me that the cameras are only being reduced in stores that don't have a photo processing booth.
  • i bought 2 a360s last night. asda portrack lane stockton on tees. had about 12 on the shelf. but please be warned the quality of the pictures from this camera leaves a lot to be desired.a far better camera is the olympus c480/d545 from currys/pc world around £85. regards brian.
