Possible Ebay Problem!!

Hi,

I have still to post my SOA on here, but there is just not enough hours in the day at the moment!

We are setting up a DMP, and we hope to sell our unwanted stuff on Ebay...... but during a sleepless night last night I had a horrible thought!!:eek:

I have a debt with a "Paypal" credit card that will be included in the DMP, (GE Capital manage it) but if I sell any items on Ebay and it goes into my Paypal account, can they seize the moneys???

I cant ask for payment in cheque as the nice banks are doing away with them and most people dont have them now!

Plus, if I change my bank account on my paypal account.... wont they then be able to see where our wages etc have gone and seize that too?

Any help appreciated :o

    Sorry, Paypal card is managed by GE Capital, not the DMP!!! Managed to post before I checked! Brain has turned to mince!

    you dont have to have the money paid to a paypal account sent up in your name. you can get a friend or relative to receive the money for you.

    Hi cant you just get the people to pay by postal order only as that has nothing to do with paypal you can change it on your ebay account to say this is the only payment method accepted.

    I don't know the answer but I wonder if anyone on the Ebay board may be in a DMP and may know the answer. Might be worth posting there too.

    Is there an Ebay Forum on here or do you mean the actual Ebay Forum on Ebay itself?

    There is a specific board on MSE for paypal, ebaying, car boot sales etc. so you could try on there.

    I have a paypal credit card, don't worry it has nothing to do with your paypal account.

    G E Capital manage the credit card, PayPal just has its name on it.
