Suggestions for best foot cream please...

Options
I was using the Clinique Foot Cream - yes pricey i know but a little went a lonnnnnng way as i bought it May07 and now i have run out (cut open tube and scraped every last drop...... !. I have found out that it has been discontinued - but it was really good, very soft feet -none of that trick stuff where feet get dry again so quickly that i have to keep reapplying - hence why it lasted so long. no greasy feel blah blah.

anyhow, any suggestions for alternative (any price range!)

  • Hi,
My sister is a podiatrist, she recommends using CCS cream. Its a foot cream you can buy in boots etc in the foot care section. It contains a high percentage of urea. Boots also does their own version which is just as good but a bit cheaper. This cream is amazing ... I had really dry, cracked heels and it sorted them out in a few days. It smells quite fresh too, its really thick and you don't need much. I use it on my hands and on my eczema. Can't recommend it enough.:j

My feet are a nightmare so I could give you a looong list of things I've tried!

Finally settled on Scholl's Heel Repair Cream, as sarah.roberts85 recommends it has a high urea content so is really good for sorting out my incredibly cracked heels. I use this when necessary, then keep topped up daily with the Body Shop Hemp foot cream.

None of the above - I mix a teaspoon of sugar with a teaspoon of olive oil, rub it in for a couple of minutes then wash it off ;)

  • I like Vaseline Intensive Care foot cream, only a couple of pounds in Asda. i apply generously then pop a pair a cotton socks on. The L'occitane is also lovely but too expensive for everyday for me.

Burts Bees foot cream works really well for me. They do a peppermint lotion and a coconut gel.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm going to try the Boots own one on the recommndation above, but I have to say I find petroleum jelly, with plastic bags inside socks good. If it is cool weather putting your fet in their bags under a hot water bottle helps too. Dh and I do this rgularly, me for vanity and him becasu h has psoariasis and has feet as hard, dry and crcked as an old hobbit's!

The very expensive emu oil stuff in warm orange packaging from Boots was uselss. :(
  • I second Burts Bees :)
