I'm scared about my Tesco Credit Card.
I rang them on 26th November 2008 and told them that I could not afford the repayments.
The man on the phone said that he would give me 2 extra week's to pay.
On 1st December 2008 they put a £12 late charge on my account.
Do you think they will take this late charge off for me?

its unlikely but if you can make the payment they might if you call them and say its a one off.
Are you in trouble financially or is a short term cash flow problem?0 -
Hi dlm
You did the right thing by contacting them but if there is going to me more of a delay in repaying, you should really contact them by letter. They will want to see your plan for payment and if this is a reduced amount then you will probably have to qualify that by sending them your statement of affairs showing you cannot make the payments.
Unfortunately they may still choose to put on charges or interest costs.DFW 228 LONG H 68

I will be in trouble financially if they keep putting these charges on.
I have wrote to them and told them that my finances are in a mess.
They received my letter on 4th December 2008, I think my account has now been frozen.
I have offered them a token payment of £1 for the next 6 month's until I get back on my feet.0
