Meat - Cheap Cuts?

Hi All,
Being a vege, meat is all a bit beyond me. DH only eats chicken breast and steak, both expensive even if buying "value" ones.
Since having my SC I've been able to make yummy stews/casseroles which he likes and upon indexing the SC threads I've learnt that being in the SC for along time tenderises (not sure if that is the right term) the tougher meat cuts.
I would like to be able to do more with meat without a prohibitive cost, although I am vegie my kids are too young to go without meat and currently only eat chicken or mince.
Can any of you suggest cheap cuts of meat,I'm not opposed to offal etc as long as it resonably easy to cook. Also, is it cheaper at the butcher as I currently get mine as the supermarket.
Thanks Guys,
Al.
