Bos Preference Acc,help!

Hi there all!

I have been reading bits and bobs on different sites about CCA, terminatination of agreements etc. I havent paid my Preference Account since May 2008, I had fallen into arrears and the interest mounted and therfore I gave up dealing with it as it all got a bit too much. I am due a baby in April, so I am hoping to sort my finances before then.

Has anyone had experience with BOS Preference and their accounts? I have done a CCA request today in order to get agreement.

Thanks

RM

  • I haven't asked for the CCA from mine yet. They weren't that helpful although I've had worse creditors. They did default me quickly, before I had started my DMP, and then passed the collection to Blair, Oliver and Scott. Since then, I have been paying them about 1/3rd of what BOS wanted from me and B, O & S are happy with that. Well, I assume they are as I haven't heard a word from them for months.

Yes, with any luck it will be passed to Blair, Oliver and Scott. While they aren't so much fun to phone, they have pretty much left me alone since I started making them reasonable repayments on both of my debts...
  • in the beginning once I had missed payments I was getting a lot of hassle from BOS and what I can only assume debt collectors constantly calling all the time, it got to the point I just changed my mobile number and I have never received any correspondence from them. I am surprised that after so long, well since April/May they havent really bothered me, the last I did hear which has now prompted me to deal with my finances was when BOS froze my current a/c last night and preference account demanded that I paid them £200 there & then, I pleaded and cried with them to accept a lower amount but had I had to just give in so that I could get access to my money that had only just been paid into my account. Since them taking the money that I pleaded not to take I have been feeling very low and wondering how I can get out this mess.

I owe £4,000 + interest + charges to BOS (for 2 Preference A/C's). Has anyone found that their agreements are uninforceable or had the debt written off? I did read something about an agreement being uninforceable and money paid to the agreement was to be refunded, cannot find this information again so I am interested to hear from BOS Preference customers whom have had success.

I would suggest getting a new account for salaries - it's one of the first tips in the dfw arsenal!
  • try speaking to some of these unfair agreement handling companies in the country. They should be able to give you an advice.
Try cartelclient review or Monster Claims.....
