I went to the Colchester store and they only had the £4.60 per pack or 2 for £8.00 when I said to Customer Services that online they are 2 for £4.00 he said that he couldnt and wouldnt honour that price...

Having spoken to someone in the know, they are saying that they are waiting for head office to authorise the price then it will go down on the SEL, until then its only the £8 deal...

    All 2 packs for £8

Queried it and they said they knew nothing about £4 offer
  • I picked up 12 4-packs at the equivalent of £2 per pack last night at store just off Parkway, Sheffield. Thanks to the OP for posting.

Even though my local store didnt do the offer, the above strikes the phrase 'greed' to me. I am sure if EVERYONE stuck to one deal, then a lot more people would be happy.

A huge amount of people do work during the day therefore are unable to get to an ASDA until after work, but obviously miss out due to people 'stocking up'...this might sound petty, but I am sure quite a few agree also!!
  • Just went to my local store and no offer there brought the two mutipacks and cost me £8

Just went to Newton Mearns Asda in Glasgow but 4 x 2lt selling at £4.67. When 2 packs of 4 x2 lt put through scanner it came up as £8.00 total. Maybe this promotion is not available in Scotland. Does anyone know?

I was in Asda yesterday and noticed the SEL. I did ask a member of staff if this was correct and they said it was an error. They should be 2 packs for £8 but someone had inputted it as 2 for £4 so they ran with it for the day and would change once the systems had been updated overnight.

I then came on here to see if was supposedly till 30th Dec and thought he was telling me porkies. He was obviously right.

    Good while it lasted

totally agree - the store should put a limit on it then if they dont want you to buy it.

I got 2 packs yesterday ( not a greedy shopper;)) and there was no SEL asked the lad to scan it first and they came up as £4
  • 2 for £8 in my local store too, and they have now removed the offer on their online store :(
