It is still covered, as you are still entitled to request the copy of a CCA.
But it is no longer true to say that a court cannot make an enforcement order on a regulated debt if the creditor cannot produce a signed and correct CCA. And as said, the rules are/were a bit different for online agreements anyway.
The court would look on the case on the "balance of probability" as to what and how anything is owed.
That's probably not explained very well
:o, but basically if you push this all the way to court then you don't have an absolute argument of unenforceability to fall back on. Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

the reason I'm requesting is a lot of 'my' debts were not taken out by me but my partner who was claiming to be me. Because of the meds I was on for depression etc I am not 100% sure which was which which is why I want to see my signatured copies of things so I know what debts are mine and what aren't.0

I didnt mean to cause offence and I would do exactly the same in your situation!
So many people seem to be requesting their CCA's to avoid paying money that they know they owe.

A campaign started by stapley who seems hell bent on stopping the world paying their debt. The worrying thing is the more people push the issue, the more likely it is the rules will change and those who genuinly didn't take out the credit will end up having to pay.Barclaycard 3800
