Equifax credit report question

Hi There,
I have a satisfied default on my Equifax credit report from approximately 1 year ago, at my previous address. However, just above this there is a summary which lists this information:
Current Previous
Number of Accounts n/a 2
Number of Defaults n/a n/a
There is also no default date on the account information, just an amount (£177) and the red "D".
Can someone enlighten me as to what all this means?
Thanks very much for your help.
David

Just re-reading my post and it isn't quite clear!
I didn't mean "What is a default?"
I meant to ask: Why does it show up as n/a in the summary and why would there be no date that the default was issued?
thanks again.

It probably means the data controller ( creditor) can not verify the default date for the entry, you are best to raise a notice of dispute for the entry, if the controller can not verify the data submitted then it will be removed in its entirety:rolleyes: It’s hard enough remembering my opinions - without remembering my reasons for them :rolleyes:0

thank you mr wizzard.
Can anything go against me if i raise this dispute? Will the creditor find out about it?0 -

1) The data control (creditor) responds to Equifax and reports the data is accurate ( if you dispute this you will then need to write directly to the data controller and challenge them)
2) The data control (creditor) responds to Equifax and reports the data is NOT accurate and amends it according ( if you dispute this amendment you will then need to write directly to the data controller as per No. 1)
3) The data controller offers no response to equifax within 28 days ( happens quite often ) therefore the whole entry is the "suppressed" from your file , i.e effectively deleted and will not show on searches:rolleyes: It’s hard enough remembering my opinions - without remembering my reasons for them :rolleyes:0
