I need to send a set of alloy wheels from lincolnshire to Newcastle
What is the best way to go about it please and who is it best to use?

Unless you have (or know someone who has) an account with a courier then Royal Mail / Parcelforce will be the least expensive.
It might even work out cheaper to send thme as 2 packages depending on the weight.0 -
There is a sticky post on ebay forum with lots of links to different couriers - don't know which operate in your area, however might be worth looking at

I've just priced up 4 x 15KG wheels, 50 x 50 x 80 cm at £36+VAT on https://www.interparcel.com. Cheaper as one package rather than two.
I've yet to check but https://www.parcel2go.com might be cheaper at £11 each for 2 parcels each of 25Kg 50 x 50 x 40. ie: £25.Happy chappy0
