Particular CD I Want

Hi there!

Not sure if this is the right section

Anyway, I'm looking to buy a CD by a band called Taking Back Sunday.

I've been through a few websites and all the prices vary.

Could you possibly give me a list of the sites of where i can go.

Ive so far been to

CDWOW
Play.com
101cd
Virgingmegastore
HMV
MVC
BangCD

If you could give me any i may of missed I'd be really grateful. I've only just recently got back into buying CD's again, so I'm a little tight on how much i should pay for a CD seeing as i was getting everything for free for quite a long time

Thanks a bunch

Dani xD

Why not try a price comparison website which should do all the work for you and will come back with a list of retailers that stock it and prices. The only one I can think off the top of my head is https://www.kelkoo.co.uk

EEP Thats a lot for a CD, I brought Fall Out Boy's at a price near to that when it came out, and i got it again for £6.75 today for a friend of mine.

I'm looking for there 2004 release, not there 2002 although that seems to be there most popular album, because i can't find there newest release on most website.

I've tried kelkoo, and pricerunner, thing is with the price comparison sites is that they get paid for listing sites don't they? Thats how they run, so they only have listed those sites who give them a certain percentage on sales *i think*

I'll try find-cd.co.uk though, thanks for that, and the quick responses, any other help is appreciated :D

the first cd is a lot better, as the original song writer john nolan was kicked out of his own band before the 2nd cd was recorded. checkout straylight run for his newer work.

Yeah tried ebay, not that many listed on there and even so, there still for more than some websites, thanks though.

And thanks for the tip Karnam, I'll most certainly look into that, see now I'm tempted to buy "Tell All Your Friends" lol.

Blahdvd.com seem to be the cheapest, has anyone used them before? Any good?

Well I went through the site and i found a discussion on the site im asking about, some people are saying slow but it says on the site normally dispatched within 24 hours, although I'm guessing i should be aware of the "normally" part. Also i went here

    http://www.dvdbargainsuk.com/voucherdb.php

And it had a £2 voucher when i registered, but it hasn't sent the voucher to my email yet, but as the CD is £8.49 and provided i get the £2 voucher, it should work out at £6.49 and thats even better considering its the cheapest site available for this CD. So thank you

  • I would've thought you'd get a TBS cd anywhere for a reasonable price.

TBS are on Victory records. You can buy their cds from Victory's webstore. That's what I usually do anyway, and I can usually get them cheaper buying from America than I can buying in the UK. There's 3 TBS cds on the Victory Records website.

Cheapest I could find ( from 2 independent record stores) TBS cd was £12:99 from Copro records and alices records.

I think it's best for you to buy from America, unless p&p proves to expensive.

Also use froogle and pricerunner.co.uk (as well as kelkoo) to search prices. They all search differently and will find different sites to each other. Use them for anything you buy online. Then get cashback through quidco ;)
