Chocolate Log with Lindor Truffles?

Might be a bit of a long shot here, but last year I made a chocolate log using Lindor Truffles - I think the recipe could have been in Good Food Mag, or possibly the Sainsbury's one (the Christmas issue), anyway either way I've lost it and wondered if any of you lovely people might know, and even better, be able to lay your hands on, the recipe in question?
Thanks in advance

eveb if it isn't I think I may have a go - worst case scenario is that I make a mess of it and have to eat the evidence!
    NO FARMS = NO FOOD
  • oops - spelling!
    NO FARMS = NO FOOD
  • I can't think of anything that sounds more delicious... Lindor truffles are one of my very favourite things. I'm really hoping that someone comes up with the recipe.
  • Ooooh, fantastic!!! Thanks guys :) May I just take this opportunity to point out that I'm not a completely lazy ar*e and did try searching "Yule Log" on the BBC site, but to no avail!

For any would-be Log makers out there it really was very scrumptious last year, and just to add at least a vague MSE touch Lindor Truffles are on offer in Co op at the mo ;)

    Thanks again x
  • The recipe for this says you need light muscovado sugar, but do you think if I used ordinary granulated sugar it would be ok, or caster sugar? I am working away from home atm and promised my colleagues I would make this, but the one I made at home at the weekend for them accidentally got eaten (by OH, not just me!!) I'm working with a limited store cupboard, and hoping to avoid a trip to Mr Ts if I can!!;)

VERY BAD for the waistline, but what deliciousness. I also saw a recipe for a similar pud last week where you put 2 werthers toffees (not the butterscotch) into the choc mix before baking and got a runny toffee centre.
But it's not a log, so sorry to get distracted !
