LittleJem and all those who are stressed or exhausted for one reason or another, just think, this time tomorrow it will all be virtually over, you will have done a great job being Santa/Mum/Daughter/Chef/Umpire and you can collapse on the sofa with a glass of wine and a smile and you'll have forgotten what all this hassle was about.
And we will do it all over again next year.But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -

And for me, it's all over! No disasters - dinner went to plan, OH's 3 kids all showed up as promised (plus partners with the older two), pressies have been exchanged and all is peaceful. OH is snoozing on the sofa and the remaining D(step)D has taken herself off to bed. Looking forward to a quiet day of snacking, watching films and being utterly lazy tomorrow with OH after dropping DSD back at her mother's.

I just want to wish everyone on here a Happy Christmas. I only found this forum recently and I am so glad I did. Its mad and fun and lots of things all rolled into one, plus you get to win things
