I know Cathy some of mine havent moved for days and I try to pass to online MSErs or folks who've passed to me - if poss.
Toni be lost without my drier too - saves loads of ironing lol.
Asda busy inside but only couple of folk in front of me at till, girl said she had customer who spent £550 just on food - no booze or pressies - must be feeding the street lol, said she had to put through in two lots as till was giving error of too many items lmao
Happy with any wins this year :A
  • It's ridiculous the amount people spend on food!! Its only one day!!!
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:
  • I just checked and only had two, wouldnt let me send to Michelle or Toniq for either of them, you got one though Cathy !
Thanks to all posters and contributers
  • £550 on food ? my god, I cant even imagine how much food that must have been. I have to go out to get my fresh veg and I just know its going to wind me up having to queue for hours !!!!
Thanks to all posters and contributers
  • Michelle, Cathy - I have no parcels either or I would send some on. Some of mine seem to be sitting there. I have one sent on the 13th that has been passed three times and stopped.

Need to brave Asda tomorrow for milk and bread. I had better go early or they may run out. People seem to go mad this time of year and stock up for a siege of several weeks!

Toniq - glad you got your dryer sorted. I would be stuck without mine. That really weird getting the money just when you needed it.

Stressed - you should be able to check your Hawkins account to see if anything was ordered which should put your mind at rest.
    Keep thinking positively
  • Thanks Purple Dragon, I checked my Hawkins account and as it is only really used at xmas it is still in my old married name and the delivery is in my maiden name which I have reverted to. Could someone have set up another account in my 'new' name?

Oh, it's driving me mad as just doesn't seem to be a win for any comp I can find, but don't want to ring them in case it's an error as we have already opened it and pulled all the stuff out!!!! It's £15 so don't want the bill!!!
But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!
  • After reading through the last few pages i would just like to say:

We have some amazing people on here, we really do. So many supportive, friendly and amazing people who sometimes don't realise how they can make some of us feel better or brighten up our day.

So many of us miss people we have lost at this time of year (myself included), and i know its easy to say but don't get sad - smile at the memories you shared with with them, you time you spent with them and the love you shared, cos they maybe gone but nobody on earth can take those things away from you.

Anyway seriously juciy eyes now so that's enough from me.

To anyone that needs it .... lots and lots of (((((((((hugs))))))))))xxxxxx

Thanks Claire, passed it on immediately, like to keep them moving,
OMG £550 at asda, If that was me I would faint, thats a months shopping for me! I try and make my dd aware of the starving people in the world, I would feel guilty spending that for 2days, my family gets fed up with food by boxing day, so pointless buying loads it wont get eaten!
two n half hours left at work, yes I am bored, trying to comp, but people keep coming in my office to talk to me!!!! Go AWAY!!!
