I had plurosey (sorry can't spell that word!) over Christmas and new year last year, my gran died on Christmas day the year before so you would think this year I could be fit and healthy wouldn't you, but oh know the lurgey strikes when you least expect it !!! Am dosing myself up to the eyeballs in the hope I can get rid of it before Thursday !!!Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0

sil said hot lemon too... does it have to be real lemon? I havent got any atm! I got lemsip drinks but I have just taken some tablets so think I have to wait till I can take one. Apparantly the house is like a sauna but i'm still cold lol !!!!Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0

I was told lemon, Honey and a couple of slices of Ginger in a mug of hot water with a bit of sugar by the nurse at my GP. Helped my throat and cough massively when i had the norovirus lurgey. I'm guessing lemon jucie from a bottle would be better than no lemon at all, Lemsip is juts flavourings, paracetemol and a bit of caffine. rather have two paracetemol and a cup of tea! :rotfl:It Will Be Mine in 2009 - Member 1001. *[STRIKE]Holiday/Acomodation[/STRIKE]*Shoes or Handbag*Vouchers*Please ask me if I'm getting my moneys worth from the gym!0
