i did get him to check why there was a failed delivery but all he could find on the system was that the courier couldnt deliver. he was friendly and offered to ring the courier for me but i said there was no point as it had been sent back and already sent out to another customer now so it wasnt gonna help me get it back anyway. and i was there spluttering down the phone and sweating like a beast *nice* so just wanted to get off the phone0

I love her so much and know I am a lovely mum so it is terrible trying to come to terms with this. I want to take her a present but know whatever I give her will just be 'lost' by her dad. Maybe take something small?
That's great news stressed - I would have though whoever was supervising should be experienced enough to realise what a great mum you are. Maybe take her something like her favourite cookie or cake to share there - her dad can't 'lose' it then....although I'd be tempted to give her something and stress that 'she must ask Daddy to keep it safe so she can see it whenever she wants' - do you have a nice photo of you and her together - preferably big beaming smiles - wouldn't hurt for SS to see it..
Happy Birthday demented and bigWoks.
Congrats on your win Toni - thought you were going to say you'd use it to get the Uggs you really wanted - because you like the ones Paul got you soooo much you're keeping them for best....:D
off to check my parcels, better finish writing out cards this afternoon....:o

Thank you everyone for your kind and helpful advice.
I love the idea of taking some favourite food to share with her and it will give us something to engage with as I know nothing about where this will be happening or what facilities are there.
I'm struggling to write this, written things and deleted them about 20 times and just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I am sure you all know what I mean - You are all angels xBut there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!0 -
