Personally I wouldn't bother, iPhone's are massively overrated and some of the rival companies such as Samsung, LG and Blackberry make much better phones that do everything that iPhone can do, but better....often with more features too.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

Find out WHY he wants an iPhone first. They're overrated, overhyped krap imo.0

As a iPhone and Apple fan, i would suggest that you purchase a o2 iPhone or a reputable one off eBay, I would also point out that if you "jail break" it, that the iPhone will become locked again when you update the software and that the phone can even become permanently locked!!!!
The iPhone, may not be able to record videos or transfer bluetooth or even receieve MMS, but this phone is not geared towards this market, it is aimed more at the business (not enterprise) market, and also to the iPod market. I myself would be lost without my iPhone! (and no, i do not work for Apple or O2 (wish i did work for apple though!!!!)
Hope this helps:beer:In My 'Permanant' Pre-Masters Gap Year

Thanks everyone! Think I understood half of what you said! He mainly wants it for the internet when he is at work and probably to use for music too, if he had enough time to watch a film on it I would find him something more useful to do!!! Will show him this threads later as it isn't a total secret and would hate to get him the wrong thing!!0

If he mainly wants it for the internet and music, why not get the ipod touch?0

as been said id only buy an iphone from an 02 shop, reputable seller on ebay, carphone warehouse or an apple store0 -
Got to say, I love my iPhone. I know the camera isn't great, but I have a digital camera for that. It doesn't do MMS but I've never missed that.
But it is my handheld games console. my alarm clock, my sat nav (when trying to find an address on foot in a strange city), my mp3 player, and occasionally my phone too, lol.
I don't think it's overhyped, it's just an example of good, clean design, and so far it's the only phone I haven't got bored of after a few months.
God, I'm sounding like an Apple fanboy. Excuse me while I go shoot myself.
Regarding best price, if you're wanting a contract get it free for £45 a month on an 18 month contract, and reduce it to £35 after 9 months. Saves a tenner, woo hoo.0 -
Next are selling them in there sale.......:xmastree: :rudolf: :xmastree:0
