Crikey I can't believe that anyone would actually fork out over £100 for a suitcase in the first place, especially one covered in horrid flowers. There's a great shop local to where I live and we bought a huge, sturdy, sensible coloured suitcase there last summer and it was only £18 with a pull along handle, lots of zip compartments and very very good value for money, why pay so much more when local shops offer greater bargains and you'd be helping your local economy.
Ha ha! The last time I helped my local economy buying suitcases they didn't last one trip. The handle came clean away whilst pulling one along and the other was ripped to shreds by the airline.
I wouldn't pay £100 for one either but these are available from £20. I will now always ensure I pay that little more for an item of quality rather than throw my money away on a supposed bargain.:rolleyes:0 -
Tripp are quite good but in my experience are always in the Deb sale at up to 70%, and you can get 'normal' or plain luggage!
I had a wheelie holdall that was bought 3 years ago and the handle snapped this year, i rang Tripp and they contacted my local Deb and i went in and exchanged it. I didn't even have a receipt, that is what i call customer service! Congrats to Tripp and Deb!0 -

Thanks for this, I'm taking my first ever trip early next year and didn't even own a suitcase. Now have three coming for less than the price of one.
Also really good to hear from PJB about the great customer service.New Mantra: I must not visit MSE until after I've completed all my chores!!!!!0 -

Oh well I never, we must just be lucky around here because our suitcase we got locally has withstood 4 punishing packed holidays now and still going strong, oh well maybe you lucked out. :santa2:

I've been out and bought 2 suitcases this morning, just came back and spotted this ... OH NOOOOO, I thought ......... then saw the pics

Think I'll keep the ones I just got, lol.
I thought the same but then thought... Well at least I'd see them coming down the belt!
So I ended up buying the medium and compact Navy tropical flower express print suitcase (Item No.: P5019244323870).
They arrived yesterday and they actually look nice 'in the flesh'! I'm tempted to buy the large one too! We're off to Canada at Easter.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
