£15000 debts

Just an update, our debt has gone up to £22300 now and we have started a DMP (Debt managment plan) with CCCS costing us £306 per month, original payments was costing us £750 per month!
We should be debt free by 2014 :cool2: , off course if I increase payments with CCCS I will debt free sooner. We will start CCCS payments in February 2008
The motor bike is now sold ( I got £1750 for it) and I paid off the carpets and wooden floors (£850) and the outstanding oil bils, electicity and phone bills.
I am £200 away from clearing the credit union debt £2300, I have £2100 in savings...I will use the savings to pay of the loan. I will leave a balance of £10 in the savings just to leave the account open.
By paying off this loan I will free up £25 a week to go towards the DMP with CCCS.;) They have now a new additional service available to allow us more control over our debtplan online, you can amend it and other things....to numerous to mention!
I would recommend CCCS to anyone who needs help with debts.
