So glad to hear she's OK and really hope her dog turns up soon - was the dog with her when she was hit? Lovely that she's told you to have a nice holiday. Hope your OH is OK, is he still out?

She had 3 dogs with her...one was hit..but is ok...one stayed with her and one ran away.She says they are microchipped so hopefully she'll find it.No he's not out working ..he came staright home when it happened.

I will phone the insurance broker tom or monday and see if we need to register it(in case she decides to claim) and will have to contact licensing on monday to inform them of what's happened.

Gosh - what a shock for all of you. Hope your OH is not too shaken up. Glad that the lady was OK and sounds nice and reasonable - and hope she finds her dog - she must be very worried about that. Take care of yourself. Last thing you need while you are getting ready to go away!

She was really nice and seemed to be only worried about her dog.She said accidents happen and to have a lovely holiday.She said she'smade of stern stuff and will mend and not to worry about her.
I only have her name and phone number as the police wouldn't give me her address...I'd like to at least take some chocolates,flowers and a card...we have her sons address though so may take them there.

Wow Taxi! Only read about this, this morning, I hope Mr Taxi, the lady and the dogs are okay! Don't let it put you off enjoying your holiday, you and Mr Taxi deserve a decent time.

Me too, just reading about it now - aargh, sorry this happened to OH - sounds like she knows she was at fault, tbh. I hope there are no further consequences, including finding the dog alive and well. Taxi, hope you still feel able to have a special holiday together.
