CCJs

Hi
I hope someone can offer me advice.......
I have recently forund that I had 2 outstanding CCJsfrom a previous address.
The first related to a car accident I was involved in, my insurance company did not deal with the claim correctly and a CCJ was registered against me for the full amount £5400. I discovered this had been eventually settled by the insurance co solicitors but they failed to notify the court so the CCJ remained on record against me for the last 3 years! I have been informed that they have now notified the court that this is the case.
The second related to a personal loan for £8000 which I paid in full before the date due by the court, however again the (tesco finance) solicitors failed to notify the court and so again this remained incorrectly on my record for the past 2 years.
I was unaware of either of these CCJs until I recently tried to move house and they came up on a search.
Although these matters may have been resolved now I have struggled and suffered over the past 3 years as a result of my poor credit record due to these erroneous CCJs.
Do I have any recourse to claim compensation from these organisations for the problems and stress they have caused? any helpful advice appreciated.
Kind Regards

Before any compensation is even considered, the 1st question you have to answer is, why have you allowed it to go on for 3 years?I have struggled and suffered over the past 3 years as a result of my poor credit record due to these erroneous CCJs.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0
