Weekly Flylady Thread 8th December 2008

in my HH i put on WM and TD,
washed,dried and put away all dishes,
cleared and wiped surfaces,
sorted through a pile of paperwork from last week!!
and made a cuppa!!
doesn't seem a lot but i can now go into the kitche without feeling depressed.
still got a sinky cold plus a nasty cough to go with it!!

hope everyone else is feeling ok, and hugs to those who are feeling ill/down/first day back at work/doing presentations....

Nice to hear he is well looked after - it must be a load off your mind in that respect. he is obviously a lovely patient too or the staff wouldnt love him either.

Tee Hee.....He has his moments:)
He done something totally unexpected on last week, I took the kids up too see him and they were talking about santa, and he asked was it that time already:) I said yes and jokingly said to him will santa be coming to you this year....he said yes he will im getting cars......I laughed and told him he was too old for santa....to which he replied i am not he is coming to me!!
Sometimes he thinks he is still 9 others he thinks he is 20.....It hurts too sometimes to have to remind him that he is actually 33 and has 4 children, but last week I could have kissed him as DS2 who is eleven is starting to hear things in school about santa.....I want him to have this year as an innocent child!! Then tell him in the summer of next year before he starts secondary school!!....He said if Dad thinks there is a santa then there must be one.....when we went home he made a small list:)

My further challenge is to put on ten items per day onto ebay.

mo4 - my DD is 10 and we are hoping to get this xmas with her believing I dont think she does but she isnt the type to say anything just incase, I'm sure we will get some questions after the event.

So far this morning I have
emptied DW
made a pot of soup
s&s kitchen
stripped bed
emptied WM & reloaded with bedding
hung up 1st load of WM

Going to sit with a cuppa now as what energy I had has been used up, will try to write some xmas cards while sitting down.

Helped Ds2 paint
S & S Bathroom

Of course you can join us wannabe sybil its nice to have you with us and not lurking!! Since you have been lurking you know how it works - a new room is added every day by our illustrious leader and you do it to whatever level you can manage. Post what you have done and not what you havent - there is no such thing as failure on this thread. remember - baby steps - dont try to do the whole house at once. Your house didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!
being strange definately is an advantage here - only joking - we are all perfectly sane, well balanced, normal human beings here - well some are - i think they are in the minority though:rotfl: :rotfl:

the thread is growing in popularity so it does get difficult to keep up if you are busy.

good luck with the extra challenge - i should be doing that too!!
