Help with Littlewoods/Littlewoods direct.com

Can anyone help please?
I noticed in todays Sun newspaper that a Samsung 50" plasma tv is on Littlewoods direct.com for £599 so as I have a Littlewoods catalogue I tried to log in but it said I didn't have an account so I'd need to apply, but to my shock I was turned down!
I have only a small balance left on my Littlewoods account and about £900 credit available, I have never had any payment problems at all so I was shocked.
I take it they are both the same company....what can I do? The same television is available for £100 more on the Littlewoods site but obviously I don't want to buy it at that price.

Could it be that with Littlewwoods direct it is not an agency based account and you pay straight away? whereas with Littlewoods catalogue the 'interest free' repayment period has been factored into their prices.0

i myself have just ordered a 40" lcd samsung that was £680 and got it for £5700
